Vegan Climate March

Vegan Climate March

Join us as we march to the Arch for climate justice, animal rights, and a livable future for all life on Earth!

Why? We deserve a world free from the environmental devastation caused by animal agriculture!

Through this march, we will:

  • ✔️ expose animal ag’s insidious role in the present ecological crisis

  • ✔️ champion veganism as an environmental imperative

  • ✔️ demand a plant-based, veganic food system

Animal agriculture accounts for more greenhouse gas emissions than every mode of transportation on Earth combined. We therefore cannot achieve climate justice without addressing the cow in the room.

In recognition of this fact, we call upon governments, businesses, and everyday citizens to:

  • 1️⃣ embrace veganism

  • 2️⃣ end subsidies to animal ag

  • 3️⃣ endorse the Plant Based Treaty

We have a handful of years to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. Join the Vegan Climate March movement today—before it’s too late!

Vegans at St. Louis Earth Day

Vegans at St. Louis Earth Day

Join us at St. Louis Earth Day Festival as we:

  • ✅ showcase the growing strength of the vegan movement

  • ✅ raise awareness about the many environmental benefits of a plant-based lifestyle

  • ✅ champion veganism as an essential solution to the climate crisis

📖 The Hard-Hitting Facts: Why Veganism Matters for the Planet 📖

  • 🌍 Land Use: If we stopped raising animals for food, we would free up an area of land roughly the size of Africa. This land could be reforested and rewilded, restoring critical habitats for wildlife and creating vast carbon sinks to help combat climate change.

  • 🐮 Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Animal agriculture contributes more greenhouse gas emissions than all modes of transportation combined—including cars, trucks, planes, and trains—even according to the most conservative estimates.

  • 🏭 Climate Crisis: Even if we eliminated all fossil fuel use today, we would still exceed our 565-gigaton CO₂-equivalent emissions limit by 2030—solely due to animal agriculture! Achieving true climate justice is therefore impossible without addressing the cow in the room.

These staggering statistics make one thing clear: a vegan world isn't just better for animals—it's essential for the survival of humanity and the planet!
