About Project Animal Freedom

Project Animal Freedom is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a fully vegan Midwest by 2056 through a strategic, chapter-based system.

As the leading voice for animal rights in St. Louis, we organize dozens of community-building events every year, everything from Vegmas to STL Vegan Market. We are proud to launch VeganSTL.com as one of our newest initiatives to mainstream veganism in St. Louis.

Founded in 2018, Project Animal Freedom is dedicated to building a world where all animals, both human and nonhuman, can live safe, happy, and free from the tyranny of factory farms, slaughterhouses, and other animal-abusing institutions.

Some of our trademark events at the global level include our Vegan Climate Summit, Gay Vegan Expo, Disabled Vegan Expo, and Worldwide Vegan Climate March.
