Animal Freedom March
Join us as we demand freedom for all animals on the 4th of July!
Why? Freedom is an American ideal, and all animals deserve to live safe, happy, and free. Yet billions of animals live some of the most unfree lives imaginable in:
🏭 factory farms
🔪 slaughterhouses
🐭 and other animal-abusing facilities
By marching with us on Animal Freedom Day, you will:
🐵 champion the rights of nonhuman animals
😿 raise awareness about their plight
🗽 and build the movement for animal freedom
All people are born with certain inalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is our duty to ensure that these rights are extended to all animals, because justice for all means justice for animals.
Their freedom is our freedom. Now let’s fight for it!

🧥🚫✊ Join us as we protest wearing anyone else’s skin other than your own!
Our core demand? Don’t buy anything made from a dead animal’s skin!

🐮 NO leather
🐐 NO cashmere
🐛 NO silk
🦆 NO down
🐊 NO “exotic” skins
🩸 NO animal cruelty
This high-visibility, high-reach event will take place at the corner of Winterfest, a St. Louis tradition with over 65,000 attendees annually.
We will dress in animal costumes, distribute literature, and hold signs as we urge consumers to divest from blood fashion and invest in plant-based, cruelty-free fashion instead.

🐐 Discuss the film and its animal rights themes afterward
Wicked: For Good is creating a true cultural moment around veganism. Not only are the two leads, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, vegan, but the film explores animal imprisonment, oppression, and liberation and has inspired at least one cast member, Jeff Goldblum, to go vegetarian.
Here is our schedule for the evening:

Levi's Leather Protest
✊👖🐮 Join us as we urge Levi’s to ditch leather and make fully vegan jeans!
Why?
1️⃣ Leather is horrendously cruel and environmentally destructive.
2️⃣ Leather is a profitable byproduct that sustains the meat industry.
3️⃣ Levi’s already uses vegan patches on some of their products.
Through this small, targeted ask, we can help eliminate animal leather from Levi’s supply chain, ensuring their jeans, belts, wallets, and other items are entirely vegan moving forward. Our demand? Use durable, sustainable, ethical vegan leather instead!
By inspiring Levi’s to divest from animal leather, we have the power to not only veganize the denim giant, but also set a new standard in the fashion industry that other suppliers can follow, triggering a ripple effect of change.
Pressure campaigns like this are highly winnable, generating wins that seem small but when multiplied by millions of products become massive. Millions fewer animals will be exploited and killed if this campaign and others like it succeed.
Better yet, PETA has been running this campaign for several years now, getting us close to the finish line.
Help push this campaign over the edge by sending a clear, unmistakable message that cruelty-free fashion is the future!
Vegan Food Drive
🥫🌱🍽️ Join local vegan restaurants and community organizations as we fight to combat hunger in our St. Louis community!
Why? Nearly 1 in 7 Americans live in food insecure households, and roughly 1 in 8 Americans depend on food stamps to meet their needs.
During this unprecedented time, we need to rally together and support those in need. Here is what you can do to help:
1️⃣ bring donations of shelf-stable foods to Seedz Cafe, Bombay Food Junkies, and other participating partners throughout the month
2️⃣ bring canned foods, dry staples, and bottled drinks to our Vegan Thanksgiving Feast on Monday, November 24th
3️⃣ donate to other food drives, food pantries, and other anti-hunger initiatives
4️⃣ spread the word by encouraging your friends and family members to support this and other food drives
Participating restaurants and organizations include:
🥪 Seedz Cafe
🍛 Bombay Food Junkies
On Wednesday, November 24th, we will assemble donations at our Vegan Thanksgiving Feast and then distribute it to those in need.
Remember to:
✅ mark “going” if you would like to participate in our vegan food drive
✅ bring donations to Seedz Cafe and Bombay Food Junkies during regular business hours
✅ and join us at our Vegan Thanksgiving Feast for our food drive finale
We are still finalizing details, but we will do our best to ensure as much of the food assembled as possible reaches local vegans and vegan families in need. Whatever cannot be distributed in this manner will be delivered to one or more area food banks.
This holiday season, please take action to address the compound food crises our world faces, from animals suffering in factory farms to children going hungry due to unjust food distribution.

Worldwide Vegan Climate March - St. Louis, MO
✊🌎⚖️ Join us as we march to the Arch for climate justice, animal rights, and a livable future for all life on Earth!
Why? We deserve a world free from the environmental devastation caused by animal agriculture!
Through this worldwide day of action, we will:
✔️ expose animal ag’s insidious role in the present ecological crisis
✔️ champion veganism as an environmental imperative
✔️ demand a plant-based, veganic food system
Animal agriculture accounts for more greenhouse gas emissions than every mode of transportation on Earth combined. We therefore cannot achieve climate justice without addressing the cow in the room.
In recognition of this fact, we call upon governments, businesses, and everyday citizens to:
1️⃣ embrace veganism
2️⃣ end subsidies to animal ag
3️⃣ endorse the Plant Based Treaty
We have a handful of years to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. Join the Vegan Climate March movement today—before it’s too late!

March to Close All Slaughterhouses
✊🩸🐮 Join us as we march to close all slaughterhouses in St. Louis and beyond!
Slaughterhouses are places of:
🔪 unimaginable violence
💔 grotesque suffering
💀 and horrific death
They cause profound harm to humans, animals, and the environment—
🩸 Animals suffer horrifically and endure extreme distress at slaughterhouses.
👷♂️ Slaughterhouses exploit workers and cause PTSD.
☣️ Slaughterhouses pollute entire communities.
By marching, we will:
✊ demand the abolition of slaughterhouses and the permanent cessation of animal slaughter
📢 build pressure to shut down existing and proposed slaughterhouses in the St. Louis region
🗽 champion a slaughter-free world where animals live safe, happy, and free
Over 80 billion animals suffer and die needlessly in slaughterhouses each year. This event is your opportunity to protest their gruesome fates while building momentum for a #SlaughterFreeSTL.
What are you waiting for? Join the slaughter-free movement today!

World Day for the End of Speciesism - St. Louis, MO
✊⚖️🌎 Join us for a banner drop on World Day for the End of Speciesism!
Through this high-visibility action, we will:
🐷 Raise awareness about the injustice of speciesism
👎 Denounce speciesist discrimination
🗽 Champion a future where all beings live safe, happy, and free
Over 50 cities worldwide are taking part in this coordinated day of action, united around five core demands:
1️⃣ Create a new legal category for animals that abolishes their property status
2️⃣ Launch global education campaigns against speciesism and for nonviolence
3️⃣ Build a nonviolent dietary culture free from fishing, slaughter, and other cruelty
4️⃣ Advance ethical research without animal exploitation or torture
5️⃣ Ensure all environmental decisions consider animals’ interests, including those of wildlife
PETA has provided a giant banner that will reach thousands of passersby in just minutes. Its message is clear: end speciesism—and end all forms of oppression, including racism, sexism, and ableism.
At this political moment, a consistent anti-oppression message has never been more critical, urgent, or necessary.
Please join us as we fight for a future rooted in justice and nurtured by compassion!
